City of Mercer Island

Mercer Island was first settled in the 1870′s and is named after the Mercer brothers who would row a boat from Seattle to hunt on the Island. Today, the City of Mercer Island is home to some 22,700 residents, a vibrant town center and 2.8 miles of Interstate 90.

BP² Squared has been engaged to act as the City’s representative in forming a Public Private Partnership to develop a Transit Oriented Development in the town center. BP² Squared has also conducted feasibility analysis for the City.
